Junfeng Li is currently an Assistant Professor in Graduate School of Information Science, Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, Japan.

Junfeng Li was a post-doctoral fellow at Research Institute of Electrical Communication (RIEC) , Tohoku Univeristy from Oct. 2005 to March 2007, where he worked on "Advanced Digital Hearing Aids" under the supervision of Prof. Yôiti Suzuki .

Junfeng Li completed his Ph.D. thesis entitlted "Noise reduction based on microphone array and post-filtering for robust hands-free speech recognition in adverse environments" under the supervision of Prof. Masato Akagi . He received the Ph.D. degree in Information Science from Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology in March, 2006.

Junfeng Li is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), the International Speech Communication Association (ISCA), and the Acoustical Society of Japan (ASJ).
