The next IFIP Working Group 7.6 Workshop on Modeling and Decision Support in Service and Knowledge Management will be held in conjunction with International Intensive School on Mathematical Decision Analysis, both of which are hosted by Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST) during 7-11 March, 2011.

The aim of the Working Group 7.6 is to apply analytical and knowledge-driven modeling, optimization and multi-criteria analysis for solving real-word problems using Web, network-based, and collaborative computing technologies. The Working Group is focused on:

◆ Optimization, multi-criteria decision analysis and simulation

◆ Efficient use of databases, data mining and knowledge engineering in analytical modeling

◆ Implementation of knowledge-driven, grid-based, and service-oriented modeling systems,

◆ Collaborative decision-making environments.
