The nonprofit Kobe Convention and Visitors Association (KCVA) was founded by Kobe City to stimulate the local economy by promoting the city as an attractive destination for business and leisure visitors. KCVA offers free one-stop consultation services for meeting and convention planners, and operates the International Conference Center Kobe, Kobe International Exhibition Hall, and World Hall.

The Kobe Convention Complex opened in 1981 as Japan's first large scale
convention complex. Conveniently situated on the Port Island, it effectively
functions as the core of Kobe's well-developed convention facilities.

Hall 1 features 6,000 square meters of exhibition space Hall 2 has four meeting rooms in addition to 3,800 square meters of floor space, which may be subdivided into smaller spaces of 2,000 and 1,800 square meters using moveable partitions The two halls can be reserved together or separately. Convention hall (No.2), floor spaces of 3800 square meters, offers 4,000 seats for assembly. |
