Joint Education Programs & Dual Degree Programs
JAIST has conducted collaborative education programs jointly with renowned foreign institutes combining its world’s most advanced researches in science and technology and high level educational contents. The program aims to produce quality individuals who are equipped with international perspective and abilities to contribute to the development of science and technology in and out of Japan. In “Joint Graduate Education Program”, students learn at both JAIST and their home institution to obtain a degree from JAIST. In “Dual Degree Program”, students learn and conduct research activities at both JAIST and their home institution to obtain a degree from the both institutes.As of Jan. 15, 2013

University of Science(HCMUS, VNU-HCM), University of Technology(HCMUT, VNU-HCM), Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST), University of Engineering and Technology(UET, VNU-HN), Institute of Information Technology(IOIT, VAST)
***Dual Degree Program with University of Oulu and Tianjin University (Doctor) are two-way programs where both institutes send and accept students, whereas all the other programs are one-way program where JAIST only accepts students.
