Field Trip for International Students 2016
To gain a better understanding of Japanese culture and nature, 39 JAIST international students from 11 countries visited Fushimi Inari-taisha and Toji-Temple in Kyoto Prefecture on Saturday, October 29.
Fushimi Inari-taisha is famous for its vermilion Torii and is listed as one of the popular places among tourists visiting Japan. The participants were strolling around with great curiosity.
In the world heritage site, Toji-Temple, students took pictures in front of the Five-Storied Pagoda which is a symbol of Kyoto, and enjoyed the colored leaves of autumn.
