Abstract:
Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) is a new form of system, which is featuring an integration of the cyber and physical worlds via the components of controller, sensor and actuator. CPS uses information, storage, computation and communication capabilities to monitor, coordinate and control between systems that are connected each other through networks in a dependable, safe, secure, efficient and real-time fashion. To illustrate the CPS application in smart homes, this research introduces an efficient temperature and thermal comfort control for the energy management system by triggering the air-conditioner, window, and curtain at the same time to achieve the desired occupant's comfort level in timely manner.
