Areas of
specialty:
The research
area specified is concerned with interdisciplinary
studies
in biological, chemical, and physical materials sciences to understand and
control
biological phenomena such as signal transduction in cells.
Contract: 10 years (extendable after appraisal): it is
possible to get a tenure evaluation
within
the decade.
Requisites:
Candidate should have a Ph. D. degree, and has demonstrated strong
research background and strong
motivations in education. JAIST encourages

The applicant should submit the following documents:(1) A detailed curriculum vitae with the candidatefs photograph(2) A list of academic achievements in reverse chronological order, separated into:refereed international journal publications, refereed international conferencepapers,domestic journals and conference publications, and others;
A list of other relevant achievements such as academic awards, and research grants(3) A summary of past research achievements (A4 2 pages)(4) A list of 3 major original articles, and their copies(5) Future plans for educational and research activities (A4 2 pages)(6) Names of two referees with their e-mail addresses
