　Shannon & Weaver (1948)は情報について、伝達可能性、意味理解、
因果性の３水準があると論じている。Shannonの情報理論は情報の伝達
可能性を定式化したものであるが、その意味や因果性について何も語らない。
本発表では、私が近年開発している次元推定に関する理論を題材にして、
情報の意味理解の水準に関して議論する。

Title: From communication to comprehension
Abstract: 
Shannon & Weaver (1948) have argued three levels of
information: archievability of communication, comprehension, and
effects. Shannon has formulated archievability of communication
in his information theory. However, the information theory
itself has nothing to argue about the other two levels.
In this presentation, I would like to discuss some potential
formulation for the comprehension level of information by
introducing my recently developing theory on dimension
estimation.
