題目:Critical periods in language acquisition and language attrition
概要:
From introduce two different meanings of the critical period hypothesis. Comparing the investigations on the early, delayed, and absence of language acquisition has different effect on capacity to learn a language. The study of the L1 attrition of Korean adoptees in France shows evidence that the difference in ultimate attainment is the consequence of the stabilizing of neural connections through the process of language learning itself.

For my research, this paper not only helps me have a better knowing on the effect of Critical Period Hypothesis in language acquisition and language attrition, but also obtain a comprehensive understanding on my research topic.
