Research Interests

My research interests are in Cognitive Science. I have conducted some experimental studies based on the information processing approach to human cognition. I also apply the cognitive theory or the computational cognitive models to the human cognition in the real world. So far I have investigated analogical reasoning of stories and interactions of perceptual and conceptual processing in medicine. Currently, I develop a computational cognitive model of analogical reasoning of graphic design, and try to apply the model to a learning support system that understands learner’s viewpoints in learning by examples.
