Ph.D. Research topic (2006-2009): An Approach to Design Focusing on the Structuring Process of Meaning.

Received M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Technical University of Sofia, Bulgaria (1999).
Received Ph.D. degree in Knowledge Science from Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (2009).

Research interests are in the areas of:

Human impression formation
Design Cognition
Design and Emotion
Design Thinking
Visual communication design

Research interests are focused on specific topics of: Design creativity and support of creative design process; Process of creative thinking in design; Affective design / Kansei engineering; Design for emotion and experience; Human tactile interaction; Design computing and cognition; and Knowledge creation in design.
