［研究テーマ］
テーマは「システムの数学的モデリングとコンピュータ・シミュレーション」であり，個々の現象あるいはそれらの複合体をシステムとしてモデル化し，シミュレーションや数学的思考を経て，よりよい方向を示唆すること。
以前はシステムの観測最適化問題に数学的に取り組んでいたが，人間を含むシステムに対しては理論の適用が困難であることに直面し，システムモデリング，シミュレーションにおける，対話的かつ知的支援の方法論およびそのコンピュータシステムの開発に興味を持つ。
最近は，複雑系のアプローチも取り入れた知識システム方法論の開発とその環境問題への応用に取り組んでいる。［主要論文タイトル］
