We promote practical education and research on knowledge creation media support. We support application development using the latest research achievements of school of knowledge science. Specially, we reinforce education systems on four categories as follows.

1． Knowledge Simulator

We develop research support for enterprise modeling, support system for knowledge management, environment modeling and environment predictions, data mining, web mining, knowledge discovery, web visualization, knowledge dissemination simulation, web ecology analysis tool, intelligent agent, and web intelligence.

2． Knowledge Creation Community

We develop research support for groupware, communitiyware, groupware for supporting group decision-making, support for co-creation process of systematized knowledge, and meta-knowledge (methodology) repository of creation process of technical knowledge.

3． Aware-Laboratory

We utilize IT Technologies such as ubiquitous and wearable computing to enable an aged & welfare society to be safe and secure. Specially, we are focusing on real-time collection methods of personal information including identification data, situation, personal interests and behavioral characteristic, and autonomous navigation method using this information. We will build aware-environment as an implement of knowledge creation air. The aware-environment enhances “awareness” of variable information and knowledge buried in company organization.

4． Media-Arts

We focus on artistic creations and its supports in cooperation with Creators, Engineers (Researchers), and User (Audience) in the arts and science research area. Specially, we will establish analytical method of Artistic expressions communication process, enhancing environment for arts creation, and externalization method of tacit knowledge on arts. Moreover, we will support reflection of expression, creative thinking, and creations using artistic expression corpus.
