The following are just some examples of the many employment support services offered by JAIST. Our well-developed support system offers many other services that provide excellent backup for students during their search for employment.
A wide variety of guidance seminars
JAIST hosts a wide variety of seminars that
include orientation for higher education and employment, presentations on
employment given by individuals with experience in corporate personnel, and
training for job interviews.
Employment guidebook
JAIST publishes a unique employment guidebook that provides solid support during the search for employment.
Practice aptitude tests
JAIST provides the opportunity for students to take practice tests, including the Synthetic Personality Inventory (SPI), the psychological test used by many companies as a part of their hiring process. These practice tests are very useful in helping students gauge their abilities.
Training for job interviews
The job interview is the biggest hurdle in the search for employment. JAIST offers job interview training given by employment-support professionals.
Original resume
JAIST developed an effective resume format
that includes the school logo and special spaces that make it easy for students
to detail the content of their research. This resume is designed to give
students an extra advantage in their search for employment.
Consultation for higher education and employment
JAIST has an established consultation system with one teacher in charge of employment at each graduate school and two counselors at the Career Services Office.
Information system for job search support
This system provides online access to employment listings submitted to JAIST, allows students to submit their declaration of intent to pursue higher education or employment, and to submit and view the results of online employment tests.
