「From Covalent Organic Polyhedrons and Frameworks to 2D Covalent Monolayer: a Journey with Dynamic Covalent Chemistry」

講演要旨
 Two-dimensional (2D) covalent organic frameworks (COFs) are crystalline organic polymers consisting of regular repeating units with long-range order. This talk will focus on our recent progress in design, synthesis and applications of microcrystalline 2D COFs as well as single- or few-layer 2D COF thin films through dynamic covalent chemistry. A challenging target, 2D covalent organic monolayer was synthesized from simple aromatic amine and aldehyde building blocks through the Langmuir- Blodgett method. The gas adsorption and lithium ion transportation properties of some of the covalent organic frameworks will also be discussed.
