Call for Papers Special Issue on The Third International Conference on Parallel and Distributed Computing, Applications and Technologies (PDCAT2002) The Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers (IEICE) announces a forthcoming special issue on "Parallel and Distributed Computing, Applications and Technologies" to be published in September 2003 as a special issue of Transactions on Information and Systems. The objective of this Special Issue is to review and promote recent progress in the field of parallel and distributed computing, applications and technologies. A selection of the papers in the proceedings of The Third International Conference on Parallel and Distributed Computing, Applications and Technologies (PDCAT2002) held in KANAZAWA, Japan, September 4-6, 2002, will be published in this special issue. In addition, papers not presented at this conference, are also welcome to be submitted for this special issue.
