■Research Interests

Software Process Modeling and Software Development Environment for a Distributed Cooperative Work
We are developing a software development environment,"JIZAI" for distributed cooperative works featued by independentness of individual's working environment, smoothness of communications, portability of one's computing environment. JIZAI supports us to act under existence of inconsistencies and uncertainties by providing us with an information repository which enable us share the instability of a distributed cooperative work and fuctions for incremental reinforcement of consistencies and certainties. We developed change management mechanism of shared artifacts. algorithms and a system of automatic extraction and summarization of deliberation threads for each topic from mails in a MailingList, a future delta system which helps us to make programs for foreseen changes requests in advance concurrently, project monitoring techniques in open source development, a conflict detection mechanism in concurrent works. We are now studying a software process model for distributed cooperative works, an active cordinator system which can help us detect risks in team activities, a version control system for a distributed cooperative work, automatic generation of a workflow for change support of UML documents, an integration test method for an object oriented system, a knowledge management system that can work together with software development environment.
