—–

I felt Liszt’s Mephiso-Walzer is too straightforward today. I am fond
of Ravel’s wits and sarcasm. Beethoven is meditative and fits the mood
in the night. Chopin’s 24 preludes are of a reflective mood. They are
cinematic.

a walk through Kanazawa

We walked in the center of Kanazawa for shopping, but could not find what we liked to get.
It rained, but there was a moment of sunshine.

a camera that does not take sharp images

I need a camera that hides parts insignificant naturally. It is odd to mask parts with mosaic or black rectangle, the parts that should not be exposed to the public, when you show a photo in your presentation or writing. I sometimes need to hide faces in photos, for example, but like to do it in sophisticated manner. The camera I got today may allow me to do so.

——–

I looked for pieces in B-flat Minor to think of its character. Not
many could I found. It may be difficult to compose music in the
scale. I did not find anything meaningful, but found it easy to play
pieces in the same scale all at once. My brain must have attuned
itself to B-flat Minor.

The last piece, Impromptu No.3, was played to dispel the gloomy
atmosphere brought about by pieces in B-flat Minor.

Our home trainer came to instruct us to exploit one’s own body. I
learnt that I have to relax the area in-between shoulder blades and
muscles around the hip bottom. These muscles are stiff and have to be
relaxed so that my center start working. She recommended me to try
rock climbing because it requires one to stretch one’s arms and legs
to the limit. I thought it was a good idea. I will find a place for
that.
