I played Prokofiev’s 7th Sonata. It was just second, or third time
since the piano came to our home. I started sweating while playing the
first movement and had to take off my jacket. I believe I got to the
bottom of the piano while playing the second movement. I understood
how it sang or how it responded to my fingers. The third movement went
beyond my capability a bit, but I could somehow finish playing it. I
was satisfied with my performance and realized that it had been my
reference point.
