a walk in Eindhoven

It was nice, fine day. I went down a beautiful path along the canal. Trees, birds, water, soft sunshine, green, and so on. I finally spotted an open air museum, where visitors can experience the lives of ancient, pre-historic people and middle ages (in two areas). Interesting to see was the old firm house built around 11C, which is egg-shaped. It felt comfortable. Back to the city, I found lots of people filling the streets. The city was alive. The conference started in the afternoon.

I realized all of sudden that there was a museum dedicated to van Gogh in Amsterdam, which I always visit whenever I am in the city. I took my mate to the museum to appreciate the beauty the painter created on the canvases. Those paintings were just marvelous. I will never be bored with them. I was glad to realize that I had grown up enough to appreciate their values, especially for those painted in his later life. It is really astonishing that it was already more than 15 years ago when I visited the places the painter depicted in his drawings; places such as Areles, St-Remy, and so on.

We moved to Amsterdam via Munich. It was a long journey as usual. I just wanted to sleep when we arrived to the hotel in the night.

手首バキバキ

出張疲れで半死状態で過ごす。午前中、ホーム整体師さんに来てもらって体をほぐしてもらった。手首をもんでもらったらバキバキ音がして痛くて死ぬかと思った。手首に力が入りすぎている、ピアノの弾き方が悪い、もっと背中・肩の筋肉を使うよう助言された。一週間家の外で過ごしていてピアノなんか弾いていないはずだが、実はこっそり学会を抜け出して近所のピアノスタジオで2時間、Chopinの練習曲とバラードを練習したことは誰にも言っていない。Kawaiのグランドだったが鍵盤が重くて難儀した、音は良かったけど。

体をみてもらった直後は動けなかったが、少し眠ったあと体調回復。酵素浴に行ったらだいぶ体調が戻った。Rachmaninoff のソナタ2曲をさらった。肩と背中に注意しつつ。

第1回「社会福祉と情報処理」研究会のご案内

[開催趣旨]
　少子高齢化により高齢化が進行しつつある中、認知症と診断され、介護を受
けながら生活される方々も増えています。介護を受ける仕組みは介護保険制度
によって整えられましたが、介護者や施設の不足など課題も残されています。
解決策のひとつとして北陸先端科学技術大学院大学のグループは情報機器を用
いて介護者の仕事を補佐するシステムを開発していますが、情報技術を介護現
場へ導入するには多くの問題が残されており、普及に至っていません。その様
な状況の中で、2010年4月、北陸先端科学技術大学院大学のグループと金沢大学
で社会保障・社会福祉を研究するグループが共同で「社会福祉と情報技術」研
究会を立ち上げ、技術・倫理・人権の側面から介護のあり方について議論を進
めてきました。
　本講座では介護制度と在宅福祉を題材として、今後どのような介護が望まし
いのかを、介護を提供する人、受ける人、その家族、介護制度の運用に関わる
人など、多くの方々にご参加いただいて話し合いたいと思っています。また技
術開発に携わる方々にもご参加いただき、技術的貢献の可能性について話し合
えればと思います。皆様のご参加をお待ちしております。

　　　石川県保険医協会　事務局長
講演題目：「介護報酬から考える今後の高齢者福祉」
概要：
　介護保険制度が導入され今年で12年目を迎えた。介護保険法は介護の社会化
をスローガンに導入されたが、その中身は複雑でなかなか理解しがたい内容と
なっている。今回、社会保障法の専門家である工藤氏から、介護保険制度の仕
組みと介護サービスの価格である「介護報酬」をレクチャーしていただき、介
護保険制度の全体像を学ぶとともに昨年（2011年）の介護保険法改正と介護報
酬の改定から、今後の介護保障の課題について考えたいと思います。

講演題目：「在宅福祉の村　泰阜村のいま」
概要：
　泰阜村は長野県の南部、下伊那郡の南東、天竜川の東側にあります。村の広
さは、東西１０.８km、南北１６.０km、総面積６４.５４km2で山林が８６％を
占めており、１９の集落が山間に点在しています。総人口は１，８５４人（７
４７世帯０６月０１日現在）地方交付税が収入の半分を占める典型的な過疎の
村です。
　しかしながら、在宅による高齢者福祉に取り組む村（誰もが老いて死んでい
く事実を認め、障害をもっても人間らしい老後を送り、幸せな死を迎えるお手
伝いをすることが行政の責任）としても有名です。福祉の過疎地域モデルとして
参考となる「泰阜村のいま」について報告します。
