The Certificate Issue for Current Students
Regarding the Application for Certificates for Current StudentsThe following certificates are available instantly at the Automated Certificate Issuing Machine located in front of the Educational Affairs Department.
Certificates Available for Regular StudentsThe hours of operation for the automatic certificate issuing machine are 1:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. everyday including weekends and holidays (except for successive holidays such as Golden Week, the year-end and a New Year).
After the Educational Affairs Department (Office Hours: 8:30 – 17:15 Weekdays) is closed, no support for the machine problems will be provided until the office opening at 8:30 a.m.- Certificate of Enrollment (Japanese/English)
- Transcript (Japanese/English)
- Certificate of Expected Program Complecation (Japanese/English)*
- Student Discount Certificate for JR(Gakuwari)
* Only master's students who have turned in a research proposal can take the certificate. (There are exceptions) Likewise, only doctoral students who have submitted an dissertation outline can take the certificate.
Certificate Available for Non-Regular Students (Research Students for example)- Certificate of Enrollment (Japanese/English)

• As for certificates unavailable at the automated machine, please apply directly at the Educational Service Section, Educational Affairs Department after filling out the certificate application form available at the office.
• Feel free to use envelopes and seals beside the machine if you would like to seal the envelope of the certificate by yourself.
• The initial password to issue certificate at the machine is date of birth in 4 digits. Students can change their password freely.
