I was born in Osaka, Japan, in 1969. I received a B.E. degree from Tokyo Institute of Technology, Tokyo, Japan, in 1992, and both M.S. degree and Ph.D from Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST), Ishikawa, Japan, in 1994, 1997, respectively. From 2000 through 2001, I was a visiting scholar at IT lab., Department of Computer Science and Engineering, the University of Texas at Arlington.
I am a research associate at the School of Information Science, JAIST. My research interests include parallel rule base systems, active database systems, and high performance I/O systems. I am a member of the Institute Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers of Japan (IEICE), Information Processing Society of Japan (IPSJ), IEEE-CS, ACM-SIGMOD.
