- Specialities
- Software engineering. Especially, software accountability of law
enforcing information systems in Legal engineering, abstract modeling,
software architectures/design/structuring, software development
methodologies, analysis of execution histories/logs of software
systems/its applications, ease-of-evolution of software systems, tools
(version control systems, configuration management systems,
etc.)/development environments, patterns/frameworks,
extensibility/customization of software systems, and object-oriented
techniques.
- My Ph.D. research theme is "Definition and Realization of Software
Accountability in Legal Engineering." My master's thesis
was titled, "A Software Development Project-Adapted Architecture of the
Extensible Version Control System"
(URI).
- Research Interests
- Software system properties (software accountability, self-*
properties (self-adaptability, self-management, self-organization,
etc.), context-awareness, context-sensitivity, etc.),
aspect-orientation/feature interaction, software reuse, intentions in
software development/its applications, embedded/real-time software,
software analysis/program comprehension, software validation,
testing/simulation, and FLOSS (Free/Libre/Open Source Software).
- Education and work experience
-
- B.S. (Computer Science and Engineering): School of Computer Science
and Engineering, The University of Aizu
- M.S. (Information Science): School of Information Science, Japan
Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST)
- SOUM Corporation. I worked on software research and development for
embedded software.
- Doctor course students (DC1), JSPS (Japan Society for the Promotion
of Science) Research Fellowships for Young Scientists
- Withdrawal from the Doctoral Program with the Completion of Course
Requirements, School of Information Science, Japan Advanced Institute
of Science and Technology (JAIST)
- Researcher, School of Information Science, Japan Advanced Institute
of Science and Technology (JAIST). I worked on software static
analysis tools research and development.
- Researcher, School of Information Science, Japan Advanced Institute
of Science and Technology (JAIST). I'm working on Software Accountability functionality of a law enforcing information system and its evolution model research.
- Societies, etc.
- JSSST (Japan Society for Software Science and Technology) member (2005-)
- IEICE (The Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers) member (2006-)
- JSAI (The Japanese Society for Artificial Intelligence) member (2011-)
- Activity
- Use, develop, and support FLOSS, and join its development
communities. If I had spare time, I could begin my FLOSS
projects....
- I'm a member of the administration group
of ftp.jaist.ac.jp, which is one
of the largest mirror servers in Japan. I'm mainly in charge of *BSD
and pkgsrc mirrors.
