Short
Biography:
I received the B.E. degree in Electrical and Engineering, the M.E. degree in
Computer Sciences both from Harbin Institute of Technology, P.R.C. in 1994 and
1996 respectively, and Ph.D. degree in speech signal processing and recognition
from National Lab of Pattern Recognition, Chinese Academy of
Science in 1999. I joined the School of Electrical and
Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological
University, Singapore, to work as a research fellow since Oct. 1999. Since Dec. 2001, I
went to Canada to do as a Postdoctoral fellow in McMaster University. After April 2003, I
joined in Japan Advanced Institute of Science
and Technology as an assistant professor. My main research interests include speech
signal processing and recognition, computational auditory model, adaptive
filtering, pattern recognition and statistical machine
learning theory.
