The 1st International Symposium of Applied Physics & Single-nano Excellent-core in JAIST

In April 2016, JAIST will integrate our three graduate schools of materials science, information science and knowledge science into one graduate school, namely, Graduate School of Advanced Science and Technology, in order to provide our students both breadth and depth in their educational and research experiences at JAIST. The graduate school consists of nine academic fields including Applied Physics. To celebrate the initiation of this ambitious educational reform, each academic field will hold a symposium before April 2016. At the same time, the Excellent Core for Single-nano has been specially established to promote the core researches in JAIST.

This is the joint symposium of the Research Area of Applied Physics & Single-nano Excellent-core, sponsored by Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST). This symposium will provide a platform for scientific exchange in all areas relevant to applied physics and nano science.

10 excellent scientists will be invited from all over the world to the symposium. Please enjoy the symposium and JAIST.
