JAIST and the University of Innsbruck in Austria concluded the MoU on Academic Exchange and Agreement on Student Exchange on Sep 5, 2011.The University of Innsbruck was founded in 1669 and currently it is composed of 15 faculties and schools, and it has 2,860 faculty members and 27,000 students. As is seen from the achievement of producing 4 Nobel prize recipients in the field of Physics and Chemistry, it is known as one of the Academic Center in Europe.

 

The school of Information Science at JAIST has already started a research collaboration with the Institute of Computer Science at the University of Innsbruck and we expect further collaborations in research and education by the conclusion of the MoU and Agreement.
