5月21日のDGGLでは、参加者が小グループに分かれ、自分の研究を分かりやすく伝える練習を行いました。
この日は、「研究内容を説明するのは難しいけれど、わかりやすくすることで新しい視点が生まれる」という気づきが多くありました。
また、お互いの質問やフィードバックを通じて、普段の研究室では気づかない新しい興味やアイデアを発見する場面も見られました。

Weekly Reportでは、学生アシスタントが当日の空気感や学びのポイントを端的にまとめています。

こうした異分野の仲間との対話や協働の場は、研究を社会につなげる力を育む大切な一歩です。

さらに、毎月はじめの水曜日には、英語を練習するための集いを開催することが決まりました！
次週（6月4日）は、初めての英語セッションとなります。
その様子もまた後日、皆さんにお伝えしますので、お楽しみに！

The May 21 DGGL session had participants split into small groups to practice explaining their research in simple English.
Many shared that while it was challenging, it also helped them see their research in a new light. They realized how important it is to make their work accessible and engaging to people from different backgrounds.

Through thoughtful questions and feedback, students discovered new angles and connections that they might not have noticed in their usual lab environment.

And starting in June, we’ve decided to hold an English conversation session on the first Wednesday of every month!
