🌱DGGLの活動報告｜5月28日の様子を公開しました！／DGGL Activity Report｜May 28 Session Now Available!🌱

5月28日のDGGLでは、異なる背景や専門分野を持つ6名の学生が参加し、研究の伝え方を磨く実践が行われました。
参加者は2グループに分かれ、1分間の概要発表と4分間の詳細発表を行い、その都度活発な質疑応答が交わされました。

特に今回は、自分の研究を1文で要約する力や、社会課題と研究をつなげて語る視点が意識されており、
図解や比喩を使ってわかりやすく伝える工夫も見られました。

まだ研究テーマが確定していない参加者も、これまでの学びや興味を起点に話しながら、他者からのフィードバックを通して自分の関心を深める姿が印象的でした。

なお、来週6月4日（水）は、新たにスタートする「英会話型DGGL」の第1回目です！
研究発表ではなく、気軽なおしゃべりを通じてつながる場になります。そちらの様子も後日お届けしますので、どうぞお楽しみに！

On May 28, DGGL welcomed six participants with diverse academic and ethnic backgrounds.
They were divided into two small groups to practice presenting their research — beginning with a one-minute overview, followed by a four-minute deep dive and Q&A.

This session emphasized the ability to summarize research in a single sentence and to connect research ideas with social issues.
Students used visual tools and metaphors to clarify complex topics, and also learned to recognize hidden assumptions in their own thinking.

For those who hadn’t yet defined a research topic, presenting ideas based on their undergraduate studies or interests led to meaningful feedback and new insights.
Returning students showed improvement in both confidence and clarity, with some able to explain their research using simplified English and more logical structure.

Next week, on Wednesday, June 4, we’ll launch the very first session of our new English Conversation DGGL!
Unlike the usual format, this gathering will focus on casual English communication — and we’ll be sure to report on that as well!
