\u4eca\u56de\u306e\u30bb\u30c3\u30b7\u30e7\u30f3\u3092\u901a\u3057\u3066\u3001\u660e\u78ba\u306a\u578b\uff08exemplar\uff09\u3092\u6301\u3064\u3053\u3068\u304c\u7814\u7a76\u5185\u5bb9\u3092\u4f1d\u3048\u308b\u52a9\u3051\u306b\u306a\u308b\u3053\u3068<\/strong>\u3001\u7814\u7a76\u306f\u793e\u4f1a\u7684\u6587\u8108\u3068\u63a5\u7d9a\u3057\u3066\u3053\u305d\u4ed6\u8005\u306b\u5c4a\u304f\u3053\u3068<\/strong>\u304c\u3001\u6539\u3081\u3066\u5b9f\u611f\u3055\u308c\u308b\u6a5f\u4f1a\u3068\u306a\u308a\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On June 18, three returning students gathered with an assistant facilitator and observers for a focused DGGL session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The facilitator introduced two tools to help students clarify and communicate their research: the sentence prompt \u201cMy research is to ___ (verb) ___\u201d<\/strong> and a \u201cwhat \u2192 why \u2192 how\u201d diagram<\/strong>. These tools encouraged students to connect their topics with real-world problems and frame their research in a concise and accessible way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students reflected on challenges like labor shortages in engineering<\/strong>, the development of responsible AI<\/strong>, and sustainable plastic use<\/strong>. Explaining their work within a social context helped uncover gaps in understanding and exposed underlying assumptions they hadn\u2019t recognized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The session highlighted two key lessons: first, that having a structured exemplar supports stronger research narratives<\/strong>, and second, that linking research to tangible social issues<\/strong> makes it more meaningful and impactful for both academic and public audiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
