We investigate the state and dynamic behavior of molecules and ions absorbed within the internal spaces of porous materials or between the layers of layered compounds, using various methods with a focus on nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR). We actively conduct research on electrode materials for various secondary batteries, such as lithium-ion batteries, sodium-ion batteries, and next-generation batteries that are expected to be practical in the future.
