I'm bachelor degree student at Indonesian University. My professor gave me such as an opportunities to explore more things of the research at JAIST.
I was able to join to the professor's laboratory in the same field by the research subject. So we can build our project with the team on the same boat.
I can't understand Japanese but most of the people understand English at JAIST. So it's easy to communicate with others and find a new friend. Also there were many chances to know new cultures from different country people.

There are a lot of facilities that help my research activities and a lot of smart people in my Laboratory. So easy to ask about new things that I can't figure out. And also we have a meeting with professor to show our progress every week. It makes us to keep in track and really focus on what we do. JAIST have not only the facilities about research, but also there are many facilities like cafeteria, dormitory, convenient store, free shuttle bus, etc. It was so helpful. If I have opportunities to do my research longer, I will totally learn a lot about new culture especially Japanese culture, and explore more other places in Japan. I had great time with my new friends from locals and other countries.
