Confirmation of Pre-registration
A Confirmation Letter will be sent within 1 month following receipt of application. Participants are required to present this Confirmation Letter at the Registration Desk onsite at the Symposium to complete their Registration.

Cancellation Policy:

No refunds for cancellations will be given under any circumstances.
Registrants will instead be sent a copy of the Proceedings and Book of Abstracts.
Your understanding and cooperation is appreciated.

Entry into Japan:

Participants who require a visa to enter Japan are requested to contact the Registration Secretariat well in advance of the Congress so that the appropriate documentation for the visa application, including the Invitation Letter can be prepared. It can take several months to receive a visa for Japan in some cases.

In order to receive the documentation required for the visa applications, Participants must first fully complete Registration for the Congress, including full payment of Registration fees, plus a JPY5,000 Handling fee (to cover postage and administration costs), and complete a Visa Information Form (PDF file below). Once the payment for Registration and Handling fees have been confirmed, the Registration Secretariat will issue an Invitation Letter, and other necessary official documentation.

Please note that the Invitation Letter is for visa purposes only, and does not imply any financial obligations of the Organizing Committee to the Participant.
