■あだ名 「わらし」
奈良・平安・鎌倉時代など古くから日本史に度々登場する「藤原氏」にちなんで周りから呼ばれるニックネームです．中学から現在までの変遷で，「藤原氏」→「（ふじ）わら氏」→「わらし」というような感じです．そのまま「藤原（さん）」で呼ばれることもありますが，「わらし」，「わらしさん」，「わらし先輩」などが多いです．お気軽にお呼びください．ちなみに私の姓のルーツは南島原にあるらしく，前述の実在した「藤原氏」とはまったく関係なさそうですorz

- 岡山市内の用水路が多い南の方（幼少期）
■研究について
同期やカオスという観点から複雑な現象（コミュニケーション，脳など）を理解することや記号の意味や意図が伝わるということに強く興味があります．研究に限らないですが，ギブアンドテイクで自分も周りも共に高め合えられるような環境を醸成できることを望んでいます．
■ロボコンについて
中学の技術研究部という部活動で，パラパラを踊るヒューマノイドロボット「パラロボ＋」を作って中学ロボコン全国大会で入賞したり，「どらやきが好きな某ロボット」を作ってロボカップJr.で入賞したり，NHK大学ロボコンやETロボコンへ出場したり，などなどしてきました．ロボコンとはいっても，ロボット同士の対戦よりもロボット自身が己を表現することに興味があります．そのようなロボット製作を通じて自分自身を理解しようとしていた気がします．回路設計はあまり得意ではないですが，基板設計はある程度，H8やSHのマイコン制御はそこそこ得意です．JAISTに来てからはあまりはんだごてに触れることができていないのが残念ですorz
