Welcome to Asian Polyolefin Workshop 2027 (APO2027)
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we cordially invite you to participate in the Asian Polyolefin Workshop 2027 (APO2027), which will be held in Kanazawa, Japan, from March 24 to 28, 2027.
The APO symposium was initiated in Nara in 2005 through the expansion of the bilateral polyolefin workshop between Japan and Korea that started in Gyeongju in 1988. Since then, APO has provided an important platform for scientists and engineers to exchange ideas and foster collaborations in polyolefin science and technology across Asia. The workshop has subsequently been held in Hangzhou (2007), Seoul (2009), Bangkok (2011), Beijing (2013), Tokyo (2015), Tianjin (2017), Hiroshima (2019), Bangkok (2021, online), Nara (2023), and Chengdu (2025).
The topics of APO2027 include:
The symposium will consist of Plenary Lectures, Keynote Lectures, Invited Lectures, Contributed Papers, and Poster Sessions. We warmly welcome participants from academia and industry all over the world.
The conference venue will be the Kanazawa Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The Welcome Reception will be held at the Shiinoki Cultural Complex, and the Symposium Banquet will take place at the Kanazawa Tokyu Hotel. Kanazawa is one of Japan’s most historic cities, known for its traditional culture, beautiful gardens, fresh seafood, and unique seasonal atmosphere.
