2025.11.26 （重要）令和８年４月入学者向けJAIST次世代研究員等向け募集要項の一部変更について
令和８年４月入学者向けJAIST次世代研究員等について、このたび文部科学省から通知があり、以下のとおり外国人留学生の支援の内容について変更がありますので、お知らせします。
「外国人留学生」への支援の内容について、「研究奨励金」については、令和８年度のみ支給し、令和９年度以降は支給の対象外とする。ただし、「研究費」については全採用期間について支給の対象となる。
※本取扱いの変更については、SPRING研究員のみ対象でBOOST研究員については対象外。
※令和７年度までの外国人留学生のSPRING採用者については、本取扱いの対象外。
2025.11.26 (Important) Notice Regarding Partial Changes to the Application Guidelines For JAIST Next Generation Researchers program(SPRING) for students enrolling in April 2026.
We notify you of changes to the support provided to international students regarding the JAIST Next Generation Researchers program(SPRING) for students enrolling in April 2026.
These changes were announced by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT). Please note that these changes don't apply to BOOST Researchers.
Furthermore, international students hired as SPRING Researchers up to and including the 2025 academic year are also excluded from these changes.
Regarding support for “International Students”:
* The “Monthly allowance” will be provided only for the 2026 academic year and will not be provided for the 2027 academic year or later.
* The “Research Fund” will be provided for the entire appointment period.
