*The final defense of the master's program students was held on February 18, 2015. Toya Genta from Hashimoto Lab challenged himself in the final examination (Photo).
After the final defense, we hold a party at Toroni for encourages Toya Genta's hard work(Photo). The internal enrollment of Toya Genta has been determined. In the coming days, the effort of all around the clock is never missing out. Please continue to try hard.

* Prof. Hashimoto Takashi served as the guest editor of the Special Issue "Complex Systems Approach to the Emergence of Language and Communication" of "JOURNAL OF THE SOCIETY OF INSTRUMENT AND CONTROL ENGINERS"(Vol.53, No.9).
This special issue is made up of 14 papers comprising artificial life, experimental semiotics, robotics, philosophy of science, evolutionary biology, theoretical linguistics and anthropology.

*"JAIST Open Campus for the Examinee " was held on September 12-13, 2014(Poster PDF). Our laboratory will also conduct a laboratory opening and a panel exhibition at the same time.
In addition, Prof. Hashimoto will come back only September 12 for his temporary return of overseas research at Telecom ParisTech until March 2015. Please visit us on September 12 if you interest in our laboratory.

The collaborators are Junya Morita (Nagoya Univ.), Jiro Okuda (Kyoto Sangyo Univ.) and Kazuyuki Samejima (Tamagawa Univ.).
