This room is set up as the "Learning Commons", a place where students, faculty and staff can study together and exchange academic ideas. You can use this room for a group learning or for a presentation, etc. Meals and drinks (No alcohol) are allowed here.

For people to use it freely, the room is full of light, barrier-free, and has no blind sheet. Please use it for collectiing information, of course, and also connecting with other people.

The Meaning of the Nickname "J-BEANS"

In this room, the chairs and tables are shaped like cute green peas. In the image of beans which are filled up closely together in harmony in a pod, we have named it "J-BEANS (Jay Beans)" with friendly affection.

When a bean germinates, it grows powerfully towards the sky and it creates a pod again which is filled tightly with beans. As for beans, there are innumerable ways in both of the growth and form. In other words, it could be said that the bean is a symbol of potential for "an infinite expanse".
As one bean grows as many as one hundred or one thousand more are created, so J-BEANS becomes the place where people increase their knowledge and ideas, where everyone germinates and grows ideas (beans).

With this wish, J-BEANS has been named with "beans" as the key-word.
