The Symposium will take place at the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST), Ishikawa,  Japan. The principal aim of the Symposium is to provide a forum for exchanges of research results, ideas for and experience of application among researchers and practitioners involved with all aspects of uncertainty management.

The time of the Symposium taking place between 9-11 April is expected to be the ideal time where the cherry blossoms (Sakura) reach peak bloom here in Ishikawa, so as the symposium participants will be able to enjoy the beauty of SAKURA with Hanami (“cherry blossom viewing�E at many beautiful sakura parks nearby JAIST, especially at Kenrokuen Garden in Kanazawa, one of the three most beautiful landscape gardens in Japan.

Hoping to welcome many of you in Ishikawa in April 2010 with a wonderful season of cherry blossoms!
