Biography:
Siyu Chen was born in Xi'an, China in 1993. He received the B.S. in information and communication engineering from Dalian Nationality University, Dalian, China, in 2015. He received M.S.in information science from Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST) in 2019. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D in information and communication engineering at Tokyo Institute of Technology.
From 2015 to 2016, He was a research student at Yokohama National University, Japan. In 2017 summer, he participated in a research internship at corporate Research & Development Center of TOSHIBA. His research interests include coding theory, sparse-graph codes, lattice codes and LDPC codes. He was rewarded the JAIST Scholarship for top 25% masters students in 2017. He served as a TA for information theory course at JAIST and advanced programming course at Tokyo tech.
