■Abstract
The link between park attributes and physical activity is uncertain, varying across urban density gradients. This paper develops an observational audiT tool for Activity-friendly Parks in denSe urban areas (TAPS) that support park-related physical activity. The TAPS was created using the fuzzy Delphi method to establish an expert consensus to select 25 of the 31 environmental criteria identified for supporting park-related physical activity in dense urban areas selected from previous studies. The final TAPS version, refined after a pilot test, consisted of 24 environmental criteria allocated into five dimensions, namely: park surrounding and accessibility, activity areas, facilities and amenities, aesthetics, and safety, and developed into 74 audit items. TAPS is the first observational park audit tool to measure park attributes that support park-related physical activity in dense urban areas. This audit can guide the (re)design of existing parks to enhance their role in promoting park-related physical activity.

■Comment
I am honoured to win the 2023 International Symposium on the Sport and Recreation Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Outstanding Poster Award. Firstly, I would like to appreciate my supervisor, Associate Professor KOOHSARI Mohammadjavad, for always providing valuable advice and guidance and support. I am also grateful to the JAIST for providing the financial supprot and the National Taiwan Sport University for providing the opportunity of this Symposium. This award gives me the support and confidence to keep exploring and pursuing science in the field of built environment and physical activity.
