Considering novel coronaviruses, JAIST decided to reduce scale of Degree Conferment Ceremony and Entrance Ceremony not to spread the infection as follows.

【Degree Conferment Ceremony】
Date: Wednesday, March 25, 2020. 10:00 a.m. ~
Place: JAIST MS Hall(The 1st floor of MS Lecture Building) (1-1 Asahidai, Nomi city)
Attendees: Representative of Graduates, Board Members and Faculty only
*Only representative of graduates can attend this ceremony. No friends and family
*Graduates receive information from administrative office. To attend ceremony, please cooperate to wash your hands, bring a mask, etc. If you do not feel well, please refrain from attending the ceremony.

【Entrance Ceremony】
Date: Wednesday, April 15, 2020. 9:30 a.m. ~
Place: JAIST Gymnasium (1-1 Asahidai, Nomi city)
Attendees: New students, Board Members and Faculty only
*Only new students can attend this ceremony. No friends and family.
*New students receive information from administrative office. To attend ceremony, please cooperate to wash your hands, bring a mask, etc. If you do not feel well,please refrain from attending the ceremony.
