June 19, 2021

To All Users of the Tokyo Satellite:

The Reopening of Tokyo Satellite

Director, Education for Working
Professionals-Tokyo Satellite

Since the government has decided to lift the State of Emergency in Tokyo as of June 20, we will resume operations of the Tokyo Satellite. However, Priority Preventative Measures will be applied to Tokyo until July 11. Considering these circumstances, for the time being, we will shorten the opening hours of the Tokyo Satellite and restrict the use of facilities in order to protect the health and safety of all the students and faculty members and prevent the spread of COVID-19 infections.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

- JAIST faculty members may use the Tokyo Satellite for meetings with students.
In principle, online meetings with students are recommended in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infections. If it is necessary for faculty members on Ishikawa Campus to come to the Tokyo Satellite and conduct face-to-face meetings with students, take sufficient preventative measures against the COVID-19. After returning to Ishikawa Campus, monitor your health and if you are unwell such as have a fever, email the Crisis Management (kikikanri@ml.jaist.ac.jp) immediately and do not go to the campus.
