About disabling encrypted communication using TLS1.0/TLS1.1

On JAIST website, encrypted communication using "TLS1.0/1.1" will be disabled from November 1, 2023. TLS1.2 can still be used as before.

- What is TLS?
"TLS (Transport Layer Security)" is a mechanism that prevents eavesdropping and tampering of communications by third parties by encrypting communications between websites and users viewing them.

- Request to confirm viewing terminal
If you connect to JAIST website from a browser that is not compatible with "TLS1.2" (PC, feature phone, smartphone, tablet) or a terminal that does not have "TLS1.2" enabled. If so, you may not be able to view it.
