Eight faculty members from JAIST selected among 'Top 2% Most Influential Scientists in the World'

On September 19, 2025, eight faculty members from JAIST were selected in the '2024 single recent year' category (and ten faculty members in the 'career-long' category) among the latest version of the "Updated science-wide author databases of standardized citation indicators" which was updated and released by Elsevier Inc (contributor: Professor John P.A. Ioannidis, Stanford University). The databases identify influential scientists in the field of science.
This list is based on the Scopus database provided by Elsevier Inc and targets scientists worldwide who have published five or more papers in 22 scientific fields and 174 subfields. Researchers who are in the top 2% in terms of citations among each subfield have been selected annually since 2019.
