Professor Nagao's Project Selected for JST NEXUS 2025 Young Researcher Exchange Program

The research proposal led by Professor Yuki Nagao, Area of Materials Chemistry Frontiers, has been selected for the FY2025 Young Talents Exchange and Capacity Development Program (Y-tec) under the Japan-ASEAN Science, Technology and Innovation Platform, Networked Exchange, United Strength for Stronger Partnerships between Japan and ASEAN (NEXUS), funded by the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST).

The selected project, entitled "Japan-Malaysia Research Hub on Energy Conversion and Storage with Young Researchers Exchange" aims to establish an international research hub in the field of energy conversion and storage, while fostering bilateral exchange of early-career researchers between Japan and Malaysia.

The Y-tec program supports mutual exchanges (dispatch and invitation) of young talents, in principle under the age of 40, including students, researchers, faculty members, and professionals engaged in science and technology-related activities. Through these activities, the program seeks to strengthen human networks, promote international brain circulation, and foster the next generation of leading researchers across a broad range of scientific and technological fields.
