***Notice of Closing***

We hereby announce that JAIST Guesthouse will be closed in the end of FY2020. This facility will be renewal and open on April 1, 2021 as JAIST International Seminar House. We appreciate your support and hope to see you again.

Visiting researchers from overseas can stay at the JAIST Guesthouse.
Each room is furnished so that the guests live without inconvenience from the day they arrive at JAIST.
Satellite channels (NHK-BS, BBC, CNN), and a computer terminal for 24-hour internet access and campus LAN are available in the room.

Rooms in the Guesthouse (10 singles including one barrier-free, 5 twin rooms)

The Guesthouse is connected to school buildings by a corridor.

Single room (a studio with a toilet and a bath) Twin room (an apartment with a bedroom, a toilet and a bath)

Facilities and Supplies

*No washing machine and dryers are place in single rooms.

Residents in the single rooms are able to use the common laundry room on the 1st floor.

How long can I stay?

One year or less. Basically, no extension is allowed.

How to make a reservation

Check room availability through your host researcher at JAIST.
Your host researcher can apply for admission to the house for you.

Bedclothes

Bedding Set (Duvet, Pillow, Sheet)
If you would like to rent, please inform the International Academic Service Section in advance.

Rental Fee:
・2,500 yen within 20 nights
・50 yen per additional night after 21 nights

Room Charges

*Room rent will be charged with additional consumption tax if the residence period is less than one month.
(Price including tax is indicated.)

The room rent will include cost for electricity and water use.
The costs including rent, electricity, water and bedding set will be charged from the starting date of residence.
