Ms.TU,Daifen, Ms.Abe, Mr.Kawai and Mr.Miyasita, Knowledge Management Area, received Outline of Future Agricultural Seeds Award in Daichi no Chikara Competition 2018.

Ms.TU,Daifen(2nd year master's student), Ms.Kazumi Abe(2nd year master's student), Mr.Kazuki Kawai(2nd year master's student) and Mr.Kentaro Miyasita(3rd year doctral student)in Shikida lab. of Knowledge Management Area, received Outline of Future Agricultural Seeds Award in Daichi no Chikara Competition 2018.

The theme of the 2nd Daichi no Chikara competition is Agriculture + Food Safety and Health. The competition seeks ideas for platforms to enable environmental conservation and the inheritance of food culture and to support the successes of women and the young. The competition that recruits ideas to provide environmental conservation, food culture inheritance and a place where women and young people will be active. Social impacts, innovation, business potential, and the degree of the agricultural contribution are the examination criteria.
Outline of Future Agricultural Seeds Award was given to future potential plans among applications that passed the primary examination.

■ Abstract
The concept of the plan is Agriculture + Interactive Tourism. It aims to create opportunities for women to be active in work and to help elderly farmers. We plant to develop a concierge desk utilizing vacant houses in front of Nomi-shi station, based on the concept of "resort concierge" in the hotel industry. We focused on healthy and traditional Nomi vegetables such as pesticide-free Yuzu and Kaga-Maru Imo. On the desk, tourists can choose one from the list of farming experiences that can be done on that day. Then, concierges from local women's agricultural association assist and arrange contacts local farmers and tourists.

This time, I am honored to receive such an honorable prize.
We appreciate professor Shikida giving the environment of laboratory and assistant professor Sakamura giving advices. And We also appreciate Mr. Isawa and Mr. Date for supporting interviews.
