JAIST Photo Contest 2021
“JAIST Photo Contest 2021” was held online in February 2021. We received many submissions in each of the three categories “Life in JAIST”, “Research in JAIST” and “Scenery around JAIST”. Thank you very much for your wonderful contributions!
During the submission period of one month, 294 photos were submitted to “Life in JAIST”, 70 photos were submitted to “Research in JAIST”, and 659 photos were submitted to “Scenery around JAIST”. From these, a total of 48 photos were selected by the Executive Committee as the winning entries.
In the final stage, the entire university voted on the selected works, and the final winners of prizes were decided based partly on such voting results. See the final results below.

Comment：I am very honored to receive the Outstanding Contribution Award in the JAIST Photo Contest 2021. It has been five years since I entered JAIST, and I wanted to contribute to JAIST in some way I could, so I applied to the Photo Contest Committee. As a result, we were able to get many more great photos than expected. I would like to thank everyone who participated in the photo contest. I hope that these photos will show the happy life at JAIST to people around the world and make more people feel the charm of JAIST.
