FRONTNET(JAISTキャンパスネットワーク)利用者各位
情報社会基盤研究センター
フロアスイッチ更新作業に伴う有線LANサービス停止について(再遅延)
情報社会基盤研究センターでは有線LAN用フロアスイッチのリース期間満了に伴
う機器更新作業を行っておりますが，一部のフロアで作業の遅れが生じており，
再度日程変更せざるを得ない状況となっております。
つきましては，作業未実施のフロアにおいて，下記のとおり更新作業を実施する
予定です。
これまでの作業期間中にネットワーク接続状態が不安定になったり，一部のサー
ビス停止等の障害でご迷惑をおかけしたところ恐縮ですが，引き続きご協力いた
だきたく，よろしくお願いいたします。

作業名称: フロアスイッチ更新作業
作業日程: 2022年3月4日(金) と 3月7日(月) 9:00-20:00

作業内容:
フロアごとにEPS内のスイッチングHUBを更新します。
想定される影響:
有線LANの各機器で，数秒から1分間程度の通信断が1回発生します。
次の場所では無線LANで数秒から1分間程度の通信断が数回発生します。

特記事項:
実験や会議等で，短時間の切断でも重大な支障がある場合は，
次の内容を情報社会基盤研究センターまでお知らせください。
- 建物名とフロア名(マテ系のXX棟YY階)
- 外してほしい時間帯(2022/03/DD 13:00-15:00 etc.)

To FRONTNET(JAIST Campus Network) Users:
This is to inform you that wired network outage will occur due to
replacement of floor switches at the following schedule. We are sorry
for the inconvenience caused by the prolonged network disconnection on
some of the floors where the work has been performed.
Therefore, we are planning to renew the equipment on the floors where
work has not yet been carried out as follows.

* Maintenance summary:
Replacement of floor switches in the EPS for each floor.
* Service impact:
- For wired LAN, several seconds to one minute outage will occur
once for each device.
- For wireless LAN, several seconds to one minute outage will
occur in several times on the following floors.
