Emails sent to or from JAIST email addresses between 17:30 and 18:00 on May 15, 2026 were not processed correctly due to an issue with the mail server.
We are currently working to restore the mail server; however, as the time for recovery is still uncertain, there is a high possibility that emails sent or received during the above period may have been lost.
If you have sent or are expecting any important emails during this time, we kindly ask that you confirm with the sender or recipient.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and trouble caused.

 

The following services are still experiencing issues:

  • Email (sending emails from outside the campus network)
    SMTP, SMTP-da (IPv4)
    → Please use VPN connection or webmail.

  • Student Dormitory Network (Part of the wired LAN in Building 5)

If you are expecting any important emails, please kindly confirm with the sender as a precaution.

[Important] CII Service STOP due to Planned Power Outage

 

Due to the scheduled blackout on May 16 (Saturday), CII services will be stopped from May 15 (Friday) on the following schedule.

The services for Tokyo Satellite, Innovation Plaza, Faculty/Staff House, and Kanazawa-Office will also stop.
